Kayley & Nathan’s Dream Wedding

It’s the little details that set every couple’s big day out from the rest. Kayley and Nathan’s wedding day finishing touches were so special and personal to them, it made their day with us that much more memorable. Here’s why…

Exclusive Use

Right from the get-go, Kayley and Nathan knew that our venue was the right fit for them.

The couple explained, “we wanted to say how wonderful Natalie was at the initial meeting. We loved how drinks were offered at the meeting (we chose a cup of tea) and that we were given a bottle of Prosecco as well. I know they’re only little touches but we didn’t get this at other venues we looked at and felt really looked after by Natalie”.

Kayley and Nathan fell in love with Southdowns Manor’s “beautiful grounds and the fact it was an exclusive wedding venue (our own for the whole day). Also, the cleanliness and the exceptional customer service provided by Natalie at the initial meeting. We got a good feel from the place from the start”.

First impressions certainly do count!

The Theme

We absolutely love a unique wedding theme, which is why Kayley and Nathan’s cheery colour scheme and dance theme were so memorable.

The couple opted for a bold orange colour scheme which added lovely pops of colour throughout their day, as seen in the bridesmaid’s dresses, roses in Kayley’s bridal bouquet and floral detailing on their 4-tiered wedding cake.

And, because Kayley is a dancer, the pair decided to name their tables after famous ballets!

The Outfits

Our bride looked gorgeous in a romantic princess gown with draped tulle detailing and a low back. Her look was complete with embellished sandals, lace-trimmed veil and elegant side comb detailing in her hair.

The groom looked handsome dressed in a navy tailcoat suit, smart brown shoes and orange accents on his tie and socks.

Wedding Photography

To capture their wedding day, Kayley and Nathan chose Aby-Joanne Photography to capture natural-looking snapshots in and around our venue and grounds.

“Aby was great!” shared the happy couple.

Stand-Out Moments

Every couple experiences their wedding day differently and certain moments spark particular emotions or memories for various reasons. In the case of Kayley and Nathan, their stand out moments were their “confetti walk and dinner! But everything was wonderful”.

A Dream Wedding Day

When it came to offering other couples advice on what it’s like getting married at Southdowns Manor, the bride and groom said, “relax and trust that everything will be sorted. They have a wealth of experience”.

Kayley and Nathan had this to say about their dedicated wedding planner: “a massive thank you to the exceptional Lia. She is a true asset to the company and we can’t thank her enough for all her work & help in ensuring our day was perfect”.
