A Whirlwind Wedding is the perfect way to make your wedding budget go much further whilst ensuring the most romantic experience of your life, and with our Whirlwind package starting at just £4,500, including VAT, it can be the most affordable way to celebrate your special day.

We are here to assist with your plans and to ensure your wedding day runs seamlessly, enabling you to have the wedding of your dreams at very short notice. The Registry office requires a minimum period of 28 days before the date of the proposed marriage, so book your Whirlwind Wedding with us and be assured that your wedding day will be just what you dreamed of.

Southdowns Manor is in the heart of the South Downs National Park, bordering West Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. You’ll find our stunning venue holds its own, even in such beautiful surroundings.

Emerald green grass and rolling hills form the perfect backdrop and transport you to a place of absolute tranquillity.

Listen carefully; you might just hear the chirping birds and fluttering butterflies that call the park their home. Look around, and see if you can catch a glimpse of rabbits and deer running through the grass.

Exclusive use on your wedding date

Southdowns Manor specialises in last-minute weddings, and we go out of our way to give you the best possible experience, even on short notice.

We’ll give you exclusive use of our wedding venue, including the bridal suite and changing rooms, for a half day or whole day, depending on your needs.

You and your guests can celebrate, enjoying complete privacy as our dedicated team serve drinks and make your day extra special.

Luxurious rooms

After the party, we welcome the newly married couple to spend the night in our gorgeous honeymoon suite, with a four-poster bed, freestanding bath, walk-in shower and the best views our manor house offers.

With two lavish guest suites for your closest family and 12 further uniquely decorated rooms, your friends and family will love staying at Southdowns Manor.

With a team of expert wedding planners supporting you, we’ll help you plan every detail of your special day, ensuring it’s exactly as you want.

Support with the boring stuff

Our fully licensed wedding planners will help you with the paperwork and license. You have to give notice 28 days before you get married and provide documents to confirm your identity.

Your wedding coordinator will talk you through the documents required and help you get everything done so you can focus on planning your special day.

We’ll also help you secure accommodation for other guests, so you won’t need to worry about a thing.

Choosing your ceremony room

Many venues with late availability give you little choice over your ceremony, but we have indoor and outdoor options. Share your vows in a tasteful indoor ceremony room, or head outside and enjoy the stunning surroundings of the park.

Outdoor weddings are perfect for Spring and Summer; there’s nothing like sharing your vows in the sunshine, with birds chirping. Many of our guests also choose to have their photographer take pictures in the manicured garden because of its stunning backdrop.

Customise your special day

Our wedding packages are fully customisable, and you can save money using our local suppliers. From florists to cake makers, our suppliers lower your carbon footprint and enable you to celebrate your day your way.

We’ll also help you choose your table linen, chair sashes, and decorations. With us, last-minute weddings can still be unique to your personality.

The celebration

Drinks and food are included in our last-minute weddings and prepared by expert chefs. Choose between various sumptuous dishes, including rustic wedding breakfasts, sit-down meals and customisable buffets.

Guests can enjoy our new pizza buffet, perfect for a relaxed wedding and always a favourite with younger guests.
