Easter Wedding Ideas

Here are some of our ideas to help create the perfect Easter Wedding theme.

We love this season as the days are getting longer and the weather is that little warmer, spring has sprung. From chocolate favours to Easter themed entertainment, use the spring elements to help inspire your wedding day style and theme.

With so many beautiful flowers in an array of pastel colours and available outdoor space this will help to create the perfect setting for your easter wedding at Southdowns Manor. Use pinks, greens, yellows, blues and purples – these can all be implemented in a number of ways from bridesmaids dresses, table plans, invites, chair covers, the list is endless!

All of these colours mixed with whites and ivories can really really that magic look.

Spring Flowers

There are an abundance of flowers available at Easter time and you will have such a choice from Daffodils, Tulips, Crocuses and so many more to choose from. The beauty of choosing these type of flowers is that your wedding budget can stretch so much further. Our gardens at Southdowns Manor will add to the backdrop with so many beautiful flowers in bloom at this time of year.

Decoration

Think about decorating other elements of your wedding day. Imagine your seating plan with blossom branches or our rustic ladder being used to add pastel tones and accessories to add to the whole Easter theme.

Branches

We love the idea of branches being used in holders with hanging easter eggs, or if you really want a wow – how about using this as a favour tree with little Easter gifts for your guests to take home with them?

Pom Poms

Chocolate

Of course one of the things you will need to include on your Easter wedding day is chocolate!! Everyone always associates Easter and chocolate, mini eggs make the perfect wedding favour, or as a wedding cake topper! A fun idea is to create an Easter egg hunt that will keep everyone entertained from young to old. With so many hiding places around Southdowns Manor regardless of the weather you will keep all your guests thoroughly entertained for hours!

Stationery

Blow out eggs

Why not be creative and blow eggs out to make them hollow and use them as your place names – it is a truly special touch and you can decorate until your hearts are content. (These eggs can be died using food colouring to create them in your perfect colour to complement your wedding day).

A great idea is having a little petting zoo – especially if you have younger guests with you. With so many animals being born around this time of the year it could be the perfect talking point on your wedding day. Who doesn’t love adorable animals!
