Jade & Jamie’s Romantic Summer Wedding

There is nothing quite like a summer wedding at Southdowns Manor. Our gardens are in full bloom, and our iconic archway is adorned with hundreds of pink flowers and fairy lights.

Coupled with our manor house offering panoramic views of the sprawling South Downs countryside, you’ll immediately feel immersed in nature.

Jade and Jamie made the most of our ‘home-away-from-home’ venue as the backdrop for their romantic wedding day. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, our newlyweds had the most beautiful Sunday with us, celebrating their love for one another.

Why Southdowns Manor?

Jade and Jamie shared that they chose our venue to host their dream wedding day because of our beautiful courtyard setting, the option to be married in our outside ceremony space and the fact that our venue offers exclusive use.

A Romantic Wedding

With minimalistic finishing touches and the incorporation of lots of soft colours and florals, Jamie and Jade had the ultimate romantic wedding – very befitting of a day filled with lots of love, appreciation and celebration!

Jade looked spectacular in a strapless fit-and-flare gown, elegantly decorated with floral appliqués and tulle layers at the hem.

Jamie donned a sleek black tuxedo, bow tie and buttonhole matching the bridal bouquet.

The groomsmen were smartly dressed in black tuxedos and white shirts, while the bridal party wore champagne gold and olive green dresses.

Tying everything together nicely was the couple’s choice of flowers – gorgeous fluffy white roses sitting alongside delicate sage-green foliage.

Photography & Videography

Once the dance floor has been cleared and guests have said their goodbyes, wedding photographs and videos are some of the few tangible and lasting reminders of your special day.

Jade and Jamie wisely opted to have both a photographer and videographer on hand throughout their wedding celebrations to capture every moment and encapsulate the magic of the day.

The wonderful Joanna Cleeve, one of our recommended suppliers, was chosen to capture natural and unstaged photographs of our newlyweds and their guests.

The talented Jacob from Evermore Wedding Films was in charge of filming authentic cinematic wedding moments. He also incorporated drone footage, which is always an exciting addition!

Most Memorable Moment

It’s always fun to ask our couples which moments from their special day spring to mind first as their most memorable.

The confetti toss? The first look? The walk down the aisle?

This time around, our bride and groom gleefully replied, “The whole day.”
