If you got engaged on Valentine’s Day, as many couples do, that’s another reason why it’s a great time to say your vows and relive the romance of the day you decided to get married.
Winter weddings are magical
There are lots of advantages to a winter wedding, not least that you’ll be snug indoors and won’t have to worry about the British weather getting in the way of any outdoor plans you might have made in summer. With roaring fires and fairy lights illuminating your ceremony and reception rooms, and hearty winter comfort food served up for your guests, it couldn’t be a cosier time to have your wedding.

14 February falls outside the main summer wedding season, making it a more affordable time of year to tie the knot. Weddings are expensive at the best of times, so if you’re on a budget and trying to keep your costs down, February is a time of year when you’ll find great deals on wedding venues.
Winter honeymoon destinations
Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to get married if you have your eye on some winter sun for your honeymoon. If you fancy jetting off to the Caribbean straight after your wedding, for example, February is a great time for your big day.
