The first thing you’ll notice is the rolling hills that show the rugged landscape in all its glory, with lush green countryside setting the perfect scene. Wildlife graces the park, and it’s common to hear the sound of chirping birds, hooting owls and butterflies fluttering their wings.

If you’re lucky, you might also catch a glimpse of the many deer that call the South Downs their home.

Our stunning manor house plays host to you and your guests throughout the vows and celebration. We worked hard to ensure our wedding venue retains its rustic charm while injecting some contemporary style into it.

Every room reflects our commitment to giving you a premium experience and a truly traditional stay at our country house.

The exquisite honeymoon suite has its very own circular bath, a four-poster bed and a walk-in shower, but there are also two further luxury suites and 12 guest rooms for your closest friends and family.

When you get married at Southdowns Manor, you can choose an indoor ceremony or share your vows in our beautifully landscaped gardens, making the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

We always go above and beyond to accommodate your wishes and never let the weather ruin your day. Our experienced team is ready to step in and make immediate changes if needed can change outdoor ceremonies to indoor ceremonies on short notice.

We also completely understand that civil ceremonies aren’t for everyone and can accommodate you if you’d prefer a traditional church wedding. Trotton village is home to St. George’s Church, a grade 1 listed building with a rich history.

It’s the perfect setting for an Anglican ceremony and is just a five-minute drive from our manor house.
